He left everything to follow his teacher and had a passion that changed the world. Yet he was also quick-tempered and full of doubts and fears.  What a fascinating character is Simon Peter!  Join the Rev. Dr. Charlie Yoost for a Zoom Lenten Study on “Simon Peter:  Flawed but Faithful Disciple” on six Wednesday evenings beginning Feb. 24.  The class will be from 7:30 – 8:30 p.m.  Here are the weekly topics:

Feb. 24 – “The Call of the Fisherman”

Mar. 3 – “Walking with Jesus in the Storms”

Mar. 10 – “Bedrock or Stumbling Block?”

Mar. 17 – “I Will Not Deny You!”

Mar. 24 – “From Cowardice to Courage”

Mar. 31 – “The Rest of the Story”

The study is based on the book “Simon Peter” by Adam Hamilton and will be available in regular and large print editions for $10 per book. Scholarships are available.
